Whether in the clinic, the operating room, or at international conferences, he’s always been driven by one goal: helping women feel better, faster, and with fewer barriers.
Now part of My Canadian Pharmacy as a medical advisor, Dr. Singh brings his warmth, expertise, and practical experience to support our mission. Dr. Ayman El Zein, MD – Senior Internal Medicine Consultant
Dr. Ayman El Zein is a highly experienced internal medicine specialist with a strong background in both clinical care and medical research. After earning his MD from Victor Babes University of Medicine in Timisoara, he went on to practice in several countries, including Kuwait and Canada. His work at the Ottawa Heart Institute—as both a physician and postdoctoral research fellow—highlights his dedication to high-quality, evidence-based medicine and his skill in managing complex patient cases.
He has recently joined our team as a Senior Internal Medicine Consultant, where he contributes his medical knowledge and years of hands-on experience to support our mission. From treatment insights to clinical reviews, Dr. El Zein helps us provide health guidance that’s not only accurate, but also rooted in real-world practice.
Sarah Yang, BHSc – Medical Content Associate and Future Physician
Sarah Yang is a dedicated medical student at the University of Ottawa (MD Class of 2025) with a strong background in clinical research and patient-centered care. With hands-on experience at leading institutions like The Ottawa Hospital and SickKids, she has contributed to projects in emergency medicine, pediatrics, and internal medicine. Her work has focused on making complex medical topics clearer and more accessible—skills that align perfectly with our mission to support safe, informed online healthcare.
Now part of our team as a Medical Content Associate, Sarah helps review and create accurate, easy-to-understand health information for our pharmacy users. Her clinical insight, research experience, and passion for education make her a valuable voice in our efforts to provide clear, responsible guidance for people managing their health online.
Carmen Lin, PharmD, RPh – Clinical Pharmacist and Medical Content Contributor
Dr. Carmen Lin is a licensed pharmacist with a PharmD from the University of Toronto and a strong foundation in both community and hospital pharmacy. Her experience spans across major healthcare environments—from providing hands-on patient care at Rexall and Costco to supporting clinical research at SickKids and the University at Buffalo. She has also held a post-graduate residency in Global Regulatory Affairs at Roche, where she worked on submissions, labeling, and global strategy—giving her a broad, up-to-date view of pharmaceutical care and policy.
Now part of our team as a Clinical Pharmacist and Medical Content Contributor, Carmen brings a sharp clinical eye and a deep passion for patient-centered care. She helps develop clear, practical guidance for users navigating their health and medication needs online. Known for her attention to detail and dedication to making pharmacy more accessible, Carmen plays a vital role in helping us provide safe, trustworthy support to every customer.
My-Linh Nguyen, BScPhm, ACPR – Pharmacist
My-Linh Nguyen is a residency-trained clinical pharmacist with over 14 years of experience at The Ottawa Hospital, where she has specialized in General Medicine, Thoracic Surgery, Cardiology, and Antimicrobial Stewardship. Known for her collaborative approach and dedication to patient safety, she has served as a preceptor for pharmacy students and residents, and was recognized with a Residency Preceptor Award for her outstanding mentorship. She’s also an experienced EPIC Willow Analyst, bringing a strong digital and systems-based perspective to her clinical work.
In addition to her hospital role, My-Linh now contributes her expertise as a pharmacist on our team, where she helps ensure clinical accuracy and relevance across our health content. Her blend of bedside experience, academic knowledge, and digital fluency makes her a trusted voice in helping users make safe, informed choices about their medications.
Allison Eid, PharmD – Pharmacist and Customer Support Specialist
Allison Eid combines her clinical training as a Doctor of Pharmacy with a strong background in customer care and support. With hands-on experience as a pharmacy assistant at Guardian Pharmacy and a research assistant at the University of Ottawa, she brings both scientific knowledge and a deep understanding of patient needs. Her early work in customer-facing roles has shaped her ability to connect with people, explain complex information clearly, and offer compassionate support.
As a member of our team in the role of Pharmacist and Customer Support Specialist, Allison plays a key role in making pharmaceutical care more approachable and personal.
